Gooseberries by Anton Chekhov Summary This fine Russian story was mainly about “Goodness” and “Doing Good” in life. In this story there were two friends whom had been already tired of walking in a very beautiful day when suddenly heavy rain started. Poor Ivan Ivanovitch and his friend Burkin decided to go to their friend’s, Alhin, house which was very close to them. At his house after taking a bath they started talking while the tea was being served. Ivan were talking about his younger brother, Nikolay, whom is old now, and his life till now for them. He told them that his brother had been really poor and he became rich by saving all his money even his presents and also his wife’s money. And now Nikolay had reached his goal and became the owner of a large farm. Then Ivan told them about the way that his brother behaved with his peasants and the changes of his behavior and that his brother had forgotten their previous life. Ivan told them that Nikolay just ordered his people and didn’t think of their poverty or needs and after narrating his long story asked his friends a favor and that was doing good in their life and not being selfish! Joual Writing 1/ Key words: sewing – fashion design – sewing machine – measurement – patte – model – size – fabric – colour. Sewing One of my favorite hobbies is sewing. In my opinion sewing is both handicraft and art. Some people think that sewing and fashion designing belong to the same group of occupation but I am here to say that sewing is more specialized than fashion designing. For example a tailor can automatically become a fashion designer after 5 years of tailoring by his or her experiences while sewing but a fashion designer can’t become a tailor by just designing clothes! Because the basic elements of sewing are needles, sewing machine, pattes, meter, and fabric but for designing are papers and colour pencils! Hills like white elephants. Eest Hemingway Lines 1-10 : In this part I think the focalizer is Inteal because we do not know if he knows everything like God or even less than a character so we can say focalizer is Inteal and it tells us everything that a picture would tell. Lines 10-17: The focalizer is Zero (God like) because he just narrates us the story like a camera man. But in my opinion it can also be Exteal or even Inteal because we didn’t hear anything about any character’s thoughts or feelings which is not mentioned by the characters themselves. Lines 17-21: Again like the previous part the focalizer can be Zero just because it tells us anything from the eye of a camera man. POV is objective because it can just go anywhere but can record only what is seen and heard. It can comment interpret or enter a character’s mind. Lines 21- End: I think in this wide part the focalizer is Inteal because he is giving us just what he exactly hears. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016 Movie) Actually I have not understood the reason that why I like fantasy movies a lot?! But I know that this fantasy movie “Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children” was really interesting to me. One of the main aspects was time standing in one particular time loop to stay safe and another one is that Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children do not grow old because they are being watched in the same time loop and that doesn’t let them to become older!( actually I myself didn’t recognize the whyness of not getting old! But it is really interesting to me because for example when I was younger I didn’t want my baby brothers to become old so that was really interesting to me that my wish come true in that movie!) Another aspect of this movie was that it was made based on physics theories around time and the probable fact that maybe if we make time machine it would mix everything and in some cases put us in trouble. Narrative paragraph 1- My typical day at university! (present tense) If I want to tell you about my typical day at university it starts like this: in the moing I wake up at 5:30 a.m. After I wash my face and say my prayers at around 5:45a.m. I will eat my breakfast and then wear my clothes. I usually take my car to university so after all that I go to university by my car. As it is really crowded in the moing around 6:45 to 7o’clock I usually do my best to get out of home by 6:15 to 6:20 in order to skip heavy traffic and find a good near place for my car at university. According to my fast speed and the time that I leave home I usually arrive Daneshjoo Boulevard at 7:15 a.m. Then I go to the faculty in order to meet my friends and be prepared for my class. I usually have 2 classes in the moing one is from 8 to 10 and the other is from 10 to 12 a.m. after my second class finishes I immediately go to Al-Zahra mosque to get prepared for my prayers. When my prayers get finished at around 12:25 I go to No.3 restaurant to have lunch. As the food quality is really low in our university restaurants I always take Joojehkabab for lunch.
